Coming Up

Ok, so I looked at my blog the other day and realized so much has happened since I last wrote anything.  Things are going crazy right now in my life.  It’s been a little hectic but I think it’s awesome!

If you didn’t already know, I’m performing Saturday with Disney on Ice presents: CELEBRATIONS.  I’m opening the show with a song I wrote called, “Let’s Get This Party Started.” It’s not too late to get your tickets.  I’m singing at the 2:30 and 6:30 shows.  Click HERE to get a discount on the tickets.

I had no clue what it took to make a song.  I wrote it and I guess I thought it would magically just appear on a CD some day.  That isn’t true.  I met with a producer who worked on it.  We got some amazing musicians to play on it.  The drum loops are rocking…kind of like a cross between Black Eyed Peas and Ozzy Osbourne!  The guitar parts are completely AWESOME.  The solo…well…let me just say, it’ll melt your face off!  The bass was slapped down by the best pound for pound bass player in town!  I get chills just thinking about it.

I got to sing the vocals (duh) and it was awesome.  Being in the studio is a place I really like.  I like having the headphones on and doing my part…singing.  One day I might be able to play an instrument or two on a song, but right now, I love singing.  I love being around the musicians who made the song and learning from them.  They were amazing.
